This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Christina Marie (Lamphier) Steinman who was born in New York on December 31, 1980 and passed away on March 28, 2005 at the age of 24. We will remember her love forever. Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.
To all who visit her here, please light a candle. You can't imagine the comfort it brings to know she was thought of today by you.

Love is like a butterfly, it goes where it pleases and it pleases where ever it goes.

Butterflies are self propelled flowers. ~ R. H. Heinlein
May the wings of the Butterfly kiss the sun and find your shoulder to light on. To bring you luck, happiness and riches, Today, tomorrow and beyond.

One of the many things I will miss is getting a card just because.

It would bring me more joy than I can say, if you would never forget -not even for a single day- How Wonderful you are... in my eyes and in my heart. I am so often at a loss to find the words to tell you how much you mean to me. In my imagination, I compare you with things like the Sunshine in my mornings, The most Beautiful flowers in the fields, and The Happiness I feel from being Blessed by knowing YOU. You were the answer to a special prayer. I think God knew that my world needed Someone exactly like YOU.

 Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each, I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints; other times there was only one.
During the low periods of my life I could see only one set of footprints, so I said "You promised me, Lord, that you would walk with me always. Why, when I have needed you most, you have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."

This poem gave Christina hope and made her smile ~:)

The day you came into my life, everything changed. Not only did God bring you to me, He also brought me to you. Thank you for making me feel so special. no one had made me feel that way before. I will always be grateful that we cared so very much. Always remember
I LOVE YOU
with all my heart.

One hundred hugs from our hearts to yours.

As I look at the Many stars that twinkle in the Heavens above,
I wonder if the brightest one is YOU....

BUTTERFLY IN THE WIND
A child is like a butterfly in the wind. Some can fly higher than others, But each flies the best it can. Why compare one against the other? Each one is different. Each one is special. Each one is Beautiful.

We Celebrate Your Life 1st Year Angelversary March 28th 2006
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam.... and for a brief moment, it's glory and beauty belong to our world.... but then it flies on again, and although we wish it could've stayed, we are so thankful to have seen it at all.
How do I say Good Bye to what we had? The good times that made us laugh, I wave Good bye. I'd thought we'd get to see forever, but forever's gone away. It's so hard to say Good Bye to yesterday. I don't know where the road is going to lead. All I know is where we've been and what we've been through. If we get to see tomorrow, I hope it's worth all the pain/LOVE. It's so hard to say Good Bye to yesterday. And I take with me the memories to be my sunshine after the rain. It's so hard to say Good Bye to yesterday.

A message From Christina Marie
Do not stand at my grave and forever weep. I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the Autums gentle rain. When you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds circled in flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die.
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
~ ;) Love, Christina
Happiness lies for those who cry, Those who hurt, Those who have serched, and Those who have tried. For only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.
